More than 233,000 euros in funds donated and 3,829 beneficiaries in 11 countries – this was the result in the fiscal year 2023-24, boasted by the corporate foundation established by FM Logistic, an international logistics company. In the published report the Foundation also lists the projects it supported in Poland.

Social integration and ensuring equal opportunities for children are the most important goals of the FM Foundation, established in 2017. The Foundation’s activities combine the social involvement of the FM Logistic Group employees with professional sponsorship. Its projects primarily target marginalised people and those at risk of social exclusion, as well as children in difficult life situations that impede their natural development. Two organisations from Poland feature among the FM Foundation’s partners: the “Porta Vitae” and “Samodzielni Robinsonowie” Foundations. More than 200 recipients benefited from programmes implemented with the support of FM Logistic.

For children in need and for professional development

The FM Foundation’s activities in Poland aim at combating the social exclusion of children, on the one hand, and at providing career opportunities to young people who may have a difficult start to adulthood, on the other. These are primarily individuals in foster care institutions, often orphaned or socially excluded. The FM Foundation has once again contributed to the ‘Safe Internship’ programme organised jointly by FM Logistic and the “Samodzielni Robinsonowie” Foundation. It aims to develop social skills in young people, foster their career planning and allow them to gain their first work experience in a safe and friendly business environment.

Thinking of children from care facilities in Piotrków Trybunalski and Tomaszów Mazowiecki, the FM Foundation together with the local “Porta Vitae” Foundation supports volunteers from the nearest FM Logistic units for children in need. As part of its involvement, the FM Foundation has, for example, donated funds to support the efforts of FM Logistic volunteers to organise various recreational activities for children.

Long-term support in 11 countries

The FM Foundation partners with a number of NGOs in locations where the company operates. Over the previous accounting period this included 17 entities from the following countries: France, Spain, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, as well as Brazil, India and Vietnam. In most cases, the cooperation lasts for several years and these long-term activities demonstrate FM Logistic’s social responsibility and its commitment to local communities. A total of 3,829 recipients benefited from the Foundation’s work in the period 2023-24, as summarised in the FM Foundation’s report, and 386 FM Logistic employees from all of the above-mentioned countries took part in the projects it organised. Overall, the Foundation allocated 233,475 euros to support the projects last year.
