In January, Yves Rocher, a well-known French brand with a wide range of products based on natural ingredients, and FM Logistic, a global logistics operator, extended their contract for another 5 years. This is a follow-up contract to the one concluded in 2021. The new contract’s objectives include the consolidation of business in Poland and the consequent increase in warehouse space to 2,700 sqm.
Until now, FM Logistic has served the Polish and Hungarian markets for Yves Rocher from warehouses in Poland, while the Czech and Slovakian markets have been served by platforms in Czechia. From the beginning of January 2024, all operations will be carried out in Będzin. With the implementation of additional markets, more storage space will be provided on the platform in Będzin to meet the client’s needs.
The extension of our contract with FM Logistic stands as a clear affirmation of our strong and enduring international partnership. It exemplifies our joint commitment to delivering excellence in logistics and distribution services throughout Central Eastern Europe. We take immense pride in continuing this collaboration, which has been pivotal in driving growth and optimizing operations across a variety of markets, says Miroslav Kubricht, CEO of Yves Rocher Central Eastern Europe.
Logistics services provided to the client include warehousing, co-packing, labelling, handling and packing orders for end customers as well as handling returns. To improve and partially automate the labelling process, FM Logistic has invested in an additional labelling machine. Earlier, at the start of the cooperation, the operator implemented several state-of-the-art technological solutions, including an automated packaging line.
Under the contract, FM Logistic will serve both B2B and B2C channels.
Providing omnichannel service requires the logistics operator to be flexible due to the the completely different nature of the distribution. Parcel sizes, but also volume and packaging type require a different approach. At FM Logistic, we can provide clients with a full range of distribution services under one roof. Moreover, we are extending our standard offer to include value-added services such as co-packing to support our clients’ promotional campaigns, which are becoming increasingly popular in the beauty industry. We are very pleased that Yves Rocher appreciates our know-how and experience and has entrusted us with logistics operations for the next 5 years, says Katarzyna Gorzyńska, Senior Business Development Director at FM Logistic.
